Praise N' Motion Dance Company was born from Praise N' Motion Dance Center and the mind of Artistic Director and owner, Michelle Thomas.  Her mission was simple.  Effectively minister the word of God to his people by relaying his vision through the art of music, dance, and dynamic spiritual interpretations.  Today Praise N' Motion Dance Company and Praise N' Motion Dance Center minister and teach dance to over 350 children and adults weekly through school dance programs and studio dance classes.  For their community outreach program and scholarship fund "ijuswannadanz" they facilitate camps, workshops, and conferences that raise funds for children age 3-17 in low income neighborhoods and families, and youth uplift affiliations.  The donations and contributions provide free and reduced dance, art, drama, and music classes held at Praise N' Motion Dance Center, field trips to plays and dance concerts, and stipends and award moneys to students in the program that attend performing and visual arts schools and universities.  Praise N' Motion Dance Center & Company know the importance of spreading God's message to children while they are young as well as adults. Their motto is "To dance is a gift, but to minister is a Passion.  Our Passion for God can only enhance our gift!"
